REPORT! Thank you to all for your helpful suggestions. Clutching my courage in both hands we first went to Carrefour as we had a lot of shopping to do there. Blank confusion and hasty summons to the Carnicero, who looked no older than the alleged butchers in UK supermarkets, to whom I used to have to give instructions as to how to slice liver correctly, instead of the steaks into which they seemed to prefer to hack it. No idea what I wanted but very helpful and willing to give it a go. As I don’t need it till next week I went elsewhere, to Pepe La Sal. They knew exactly what I wanted, after my brief request, and will prepare the legs and have them waiting for me to collect on Tuesday, for my large lunch party which is expanding by the minute, I don’t think we can have forgotten anyone else..........?!
