Hi all
Looking for advice on getting my dog from Ireland to Spain. Have been told that somebody local to cabo roig does it... Has anyone done this?
My head says it would be ideal but my heart says he would (the dog!!) lose his life as he would not know what was happening.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hiya, What about using the ferry, I know that all the pet friendly cabins are in demand however did the ferry last time and was great to see all the pets and owners travelling together. Cheers Gary

There are several professional pet transport companies In uk, so would assume they also exist in Ireland. This is the easiest way to transport your dog, although not necessarily the least expensive. Howe er, we used one, from uk, some years ago to transport our cats and it was completely stress and hassle free. The cats were fine.

Totally agree we take our dog over on the ferry and she has no problem. Ferry from Rosslare to Bilbao go on Wednesday only one night on Ferry or Friday and its 2 nights. Brittany ferries have pet friendly cabins cost for car 2 people and dog around €400 each way during winter months. Z
