Getting a Spanish driving license

Hi, does anyone know the actual cost of exchanging my U.K. driving license for a Spanish one. I believe this is a must since I have residency.

The fee last month when I exchanged my licence at Elche Trafico was 28.30€

Hi thanks for your reply, did you have to take a test of some sort, just that I’m being quoted €150

If you are exchanging you get what is left on your old U.K. licence on your new Spanish one, just apply online, no medical or test needed, definitely no need to get ripped of by someone charging you mega bucks. Simply apply online and you will get a date for your appointment.On the day of your appointment take your application form downloaded from when you apply, passport and copy, NIE original and copy, your old U.K. licence, photographs ( make sure you get the right size ). When you attend for an appointment take a ticket, sit and wait until your number comes up on the screens, we were dealt with a very pleasant English speaking woman.

Renewals are different, I have no experience of them but I do know for them you need a Medical Report.
