Hi everyone, I am trying to find where I can buy fresh herbs. Local Consum and Alcampo at Zenia Boulevard sell rosemary, chives and cilantro but that seems to be it. Cannot see any basil, thyme or flat leaf parsley. I really would like to grow in my own pots on the terrace so any suggestions as to who sells or where would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Linda

I don't know your area, but we buy our herbs from the markets and, on occasion, from our local chino. We don't have a garden centre near to us, otherwise we'd go there.

Basil and mint are usually good, whereas others are often lacking in flavour. In the UK, herbs struggle to grow and have time to develop flavour, whereas in Spain they grow too quickly. If you've ever tried Spanish rocket, you'll know what I mean - it just hasn't got the same peppery taste that it has in the UK.

Thanks Jim. We've only been here a few weeks so got a lot of exploring to do. Will try the markets. Cheers
