Hi. Am wanting to order some furniture from Conforama for home delivery. I'm back in Spain in three weeks time for a week and am trying to co-ordinate it with that visit. It says some of the items are available for delivery in 5 days but is it possible to delay it, i.e will they keep hold of it for a period of time. Not actually bought it yet pending some advice. Will try and call them but worried I might not be understood!

Thanks.

Through personal experience I can state Conforama are known for taking deposits on items not in stock and then taking for ever and a day to get it in store.

If only in Spain for one week and arranging delivery for that week is something I would not do, but who knows, you may be more fortunate than us.

Good Luck.

I might try to ring them tomorrow. Today's a bank holiday there?

Completely agree Les. Lots of items in Conforama say 40 days. Then when that time expires they say 40 days. Ordered furniture and eventually gave up calling in for an update on delivery. Took 4 months if I remember correctly.

Hi I ordered a Sofa from Conforama and arranged for it to be delivered the next time we were back in Spain.  When back in England I had a phone call from them saying the sofa was ready to be delivered.  I just told them the date I wanted it delivering and they delivered it as agreed.  No problems with being understood and found them to be very efficient.

We too have a holiday home and arranged for delivery of a sofa when we would next be in Spain. We picked it out and paid and were given a receipt and they delivered it on the day we’d arranged.

We have always been happy with their service.

Anyone  wishing to buy a sofa may like to know that DFS in the UK will ship one out to Spain for the same delivery cost (£69) as delivery to the UK.  They have a container going out each week (used to be monthly but they are now so busy ) and delivery time is the same as the UK, about 6 weeks. Saves you spending your holiday shopping for sofas, and you can also take advantage of the no interest finance if you wish, and the prices are less than in Spain.

Sounds good, we have placed our order and are awaiting delivery, so fingers crossed it goes to plan!
