Once you receive your residencia from the big office in Alicante where do you collect your card from ?

Is it the same place you went to do your application in Alicante?

thank in advance

Hi Teresa and congratulations!

You would have made your application at Calle Ebanisteria, but you collect your TIE from a different office:

Calle Campo de Mirra 6

It’s about 2km from the first office you went to and there’s a large car park alongside it.

If you want to check first whether your card is ready, you can call (00 34) 965 125 531

Kind regards,

Kim

My partner had 4 declines and 2 appeals and eventually he got his residency 3 weeks ago been going on since january,

So all you guys out there wanting residents do not give up the fight we knew we were in the right as he was here most the year last year. Our Spanish lady was brilliant she would not give up. Good luck everyone.

Hi

We used Alex at a Sun Lawyers in La Zenia and the cost for both of us was €150 - however I believe we had to have the healthcare in place before the application could be submitted, so not sure how your solicitor was able to apply for you?

I would ask for proof of their application and to see the correspondence which states your were denied.  A complaint could then be made if your solicitor has “duped” you in any way, as €500 is indeed scandalous.

Good luck

Sharon

I did not know you could make more than 1 application.

I am sorry I do not understand, did your partner submit 3 further applications after each denial and appeal after all 4 had been denied?

Yes he appealed after the last one Belen our spanish lady wrote a long letter to them explaining how long we have been here that i have mine. She sent me a form to download and give to my 2 Spainish neighbours who verified he was here last year. Our townhall were brilliant they knew he was here but not on the padron as he used to go in a get certificate for our bonfires. Eventually they gave him a padron signed by the Major saying he was here. Hey presto won appeal. Your probably asking why did he not get one then? Well he was still working in uk till august and then Covid came and everything shut down when he came back in october. Also we were trying to get the right health care insurance for him that also did not arrive till Jan2021. He now has everything in place except his driving licence which will be another hurdle to overcome but our Spanish lady will sort that out for us. Good luck everyone
