I have heard that the TIE office in Torrevieja has been closed, does anyone know anything about this?

Hi Helen,

Yes, I heard from a gestor friend yesterday that TIE appointments at Torrevieja, Elche and Benidorm have been suspended, because there is spare capacity at Alicante.  This means that people applying online for an appointment will only be offered Alicante office as an option.

Kind regards,

Kim

Presumably the office is still open though, for other transactions. Including the collection of TIE cards.

Hi Sheila,

It´s only this process that has been suspended, the Foreigners´ offices are still open for business as usual.  I´ve asked my gestor friend if he knows whether those who applied at these offices will still be able to collect their TIE cards from them, or will they have to collect them at Alicante instead.  I´ll update this thread when I receive an answer.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kim, I have just seen an update from Torrevieja Pangea that Lote no.41 is delivered to Torrevieja today, so that is good news for me 👍😀

Hi Sheila,

Great news.  Coincidentally, my friend has just text me to say that this doesn't affect collection of cards, so anyone who made their applications in Torrevieja, Elche and Benidorm can still collect their cards from those locations, rather than going to Alicante 👍

Kind regards,

Kim
