Yes the rules have changed you now need a PCR test not antigen test, this has to be taken within two days of arrival and to isolate until you receive a negative result.

No date has been set for start of new regs yet, uk gov to make announcement later today, so far no info from them only from newspaper.

Hi,

keep checking the UK Gov website to find out the latest info and updates. It looks likely that the start date for the new testing and isolation will be Tuesday.

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-to-england-from-another-country-during-coronavirus-covid-19

Note that at the moment the announcement yesterday was for travellers arriving in England, though the other UK countries may follow soon.

Aitch.

whoever you booked your lateral test with should now be able to offer you a PCR test, but they just need time to sort it all out, hopefully they will soon be organised

Yes the rules have now changed, you need a PCR test instead of a lateral test, get in touch with the company you bought your original test off and they should refund you and buy the PCR test to test on day 2, then you have to isolate until you get a negative result. I hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Rachael
