We have been using The Pool People in San Luis for a year but only because we were

contracted for a year...….we were very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and the general service we received for our 65 euros per month.  On several occasions we have had to go into the office to complain about their attempts to charge us for two months when only one mont was due but this went on every month......the owner Andrew Morton despite being in the office on several of our visits took no interest whatsoever in our complaints.....today was our last clean and the end of the contract thank god! we went out shopping and came back to a green pool !   the maintenance man wrote on his diary saying he had done this that and the other with the chemicals but we had bought a test kit and none of this had been done....so we went into the office and was accused of fraud and told we were only saying this because we had no intention of paying !!! we are sure this was done on purpose...….we had every intention of paying....after all we had paid for a year for a poor service......they now have our front door key and wont give it back and refuse to come and sort out the green pool …….we are pensioners and fraught with worry that they might come into our house when we are not there and cause damage.....what should we do?

Ask them for their hojas de reclamación and fill out a complaint form. They might get stroppy but are obliged to comply. If they don't, then complain direct to your local OMIC office, which is often in your town hall.

Sorry Villas, I am not sure if you are recommending The Pool People or not. Perhaps I am tired! Can you confirm please. Thanks

Hi Villas, thanks for your reply. The reason I was confused is because the OP was blaming that company for her green pool and bad maintenance service, so was wondering why you were advising her to contact them. I am awake now and slept well 😀

Hi & good morning.

I read the original OP & subsequent posts. I was (without knowing the "OP" or ongoing problems. I can only, for me, as a customer state that I have used the company & been totally happy with their results.

Thanks Villas. I have had 2 glowing reports about them, one from the president of an urbanisation and one from a private pool owner. They are booked to re-tile our community pool next Feb. and I want to spend the owners' money wisely, so it's good to hear some positive reviews. Cheers!
