Hi we have bought a house in largo jardin 2 and we are wondering if anyone knows of anyone who does private transfers from alicante Airport to the house. Some of the prices are so expensive and we are wondering if anyone knows anyone who does it as a reasonable price plz as we will be coming to the house often.

You could always try the Alicante airport bus to Torrevieja bus station = 7 Euro each and then opposite the Torrevieja bus station is a local bus stop where you catch the E bus to Largo Jardin/Los Balcones = 1.50 Euro each. Please see a earlier post Alicante to Torrevieja for scedules.

Thanks Peter we have done this way but my son will be using the house for weekend breaks and be having late flights and the airport bus would have stopped by the time he gets there.

Torrevieja Radio cabs charge €50 set rate, I used them several times to get me to the airport, I think the link will tell you it is a bit extra during night time service and weekends. They have around 50/ 60 cars available so are very reliable and you can book in advance for them to collect you from ALC airport.

This is each journey. If you use anyone other than a registered taxi, the airport police are quick to stop them & issue fines and then you would be without transport ,so be very careful if you get any other cheaper offers. If you have to use the taxi rank outside Arrivals, - they are an Elche based company, legal of course but metered ,so more expensive.
