Gauge Steve
I've been using gas bottles for years and never seen a gauge for them. I'm interested to hear from anyone who has actually seen a gauge as apposed to a regulator.

I have seen some adjustable regulators with gauges on ebay.es
They tend to be in-line regulators, not the clip-on regulating caps generally used here.
I've never used one though.
I assume that they do butane and propane (28mb and 37mb), and would need to be installed after a non-regulating clip-on bottle valve.

I am curious why you need a pressure gauge on a normal gas bottle. I can understand it if you were using the gas in, say, a cutting torch where you set the pressure to suit the job, but In a domestic situation that is not necessary.
All domestic regs over here are preset and you can fit the same reg to propane or butane bottles unlike the UK.
As the pressure in any bottle varies with temperature I don't know what a gauge would tell you.
The best way to find how much gas is left just look for a condensation line on the bottle when drawing off gas, or just feel it.
If you are drawing off a lot of gas you can get frost on the side.
