Good morning everyone. We have recently moved here and are looking to furnish our little place - in the UK I would go straight to PC World, Amazon, B&Q etc to have larger items delivered - where should I go in Spain please, looking to order on line for delivery - TV, BBQ, chairs etc - is there a one stop shop website to consider please?

Hello,

There is Amazon.es ( Spanish Amazon site) who I find reliable & with fast delivery ..... also at Zenia Boulevard in La Zenia, you can look at Media Mart for all things electrical & Leroy Merlin for many  household & terrace/garden items  for kitchens, bathrooms ... bbq's  garden furniture, umbrellas etc. Conforama in Zenia Boulevard is  mainly  a furniture store but have bed linen, curtains  pictures, cushions etc.

Check them out online & se if any  are what  you are looking for

Cheers

Hi

I echo what elinspain said, and I would add https://www.bricodepot.es/ which is owned by Kingfisher, which means it's B&Q in disguise!

I hate hanging around waiting for deliveries, partly because we live in a gated community, and partly because I don't speak Spanish. If you buy lots of things from one place I suggest you use "click & collect" - and when everything is ready, get a man and a van to collect it all.

Cheers

Steve

Thank you everyone, I'll give Amazon a go to start with - I am also in a gated community and have not heard good things about on time deliveries so we are just hoping sitting in for the day they are promised will reap rewards!

Hi again

I generally find that the supplier will give you a delivery date (eventually) and then call you 30 mins beforehand - which is where my lack of Spanish language, and the driver's patchy English become an issue. Having said that, I've never actually missed a delivery!

For smaller items, using Amazon, you can select delivery to the Amazon lockers in La Zenia Boulevard. They will email you when its there and you have 5 days to collect it.

Cheers

Steve

Thanks everyone - Amazon have been a bit Jeckyll and Hyde so far - one delivery excellent, called me, very polite very helpful - the other claiming we weren't in (we were), the third still out for delivery at 6.35pm making it a completely wasted day but hey ho!
