I used Palmers to move us.  Are you taking anything ... out the ordinary ?

No just s few household things and lots of personal stuff. Photos of my son and my life. Grandparents and Mum n Dads stuff. Bits that will make my place in Spain completely my home. Most of its not essential but my life and favourite things plus clothes n shoes n bits. Probably about 20 boxes but half of them small as i cant leave my books behind. Probably a waste of money as at 67 i may not be in Spain too long !! x

That’s ok!  Yes the shipment arrived into Rotterdam last week ... hoping I’ll get it the end of next week. At least I’ll have boxes to unpack & keep me occupied lol

And it should feel a bit like Christmas eh. Seems like we soon forget what we've got and what we packed. Hope you have fun. Take care x

For info, there's a second vaccine that has been developed in London but isn't ready for trials yet.

Fingers crossed for a vaccine. Good luck to us all x

Jet 2 have cancelled our friends flights to Alicante for 8 June....

I think they’ve cancelled everything till end of June ? We are flying KLM to Amsterdam then Transavia to Alicante as we are taking our cat with us and we can get him in the cabin. Our flights have been cancelled 9th April, 17th April and the 7th May . KLM have cancelled all flights in May....we have a beautiful house waiting for us in Murcia too 😢😢

Qatar cancelled my flights on 28th Perth to Doha to Alicante. In a way this has been best for me as Western Australia must be 1 of the safest places on the planet. But I'd still prefer to be moving to my little spot in Spain. Fingers crossed the wait wont be too long  x

Hi yes we are flying from Glasgow to Amsterdam with KLM then change to Transavia on to Alicante it was less than £100 in total for him . I didn’t want to put him in the hold as I would have been panicking we were also quoted over a £1000 for that service ( not by an airline) If you are booking with KLM they have to approve your cat/dog and you have to comply with their pet carrier sizes/weight. Transavia you just added him to the booking online very easy. The trip is obviously much longer but means we have Monty with us where we know he’s safe 🖤
