We were planning to come out to our bungalow but did not due to the floods.  What can we expect in the area when we arrive.  We are coming out to check our property.  What can anybody tell us about the current situation.

From what we have seen there are no problems, back roads are ok have not seen any problems around the canal/storm drains either.

All roads appear clear and debris free, just watch out for pot holes!

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. We will come out shortly to check no damage to our property. Relieved to hear what you had to say and hope you yourselves were not too affected.

We escaped relatively unscathed. One homeowner who lives on the road behind us, lost their swimming pool and garden when they slipped into the ravine.

I was bit shell shocked by the utter devastation the rain caused according to local news we got a years worth of rain in a day, no infastruction can cope with that.

Thank you for this.  We were planning to come out at the end of August beginning September, bit of a lucky escape that.  Glad it wasn’t the worst for you.  Thanks for the reply.
