Are you sure your service includes catchup, typically the cheaper services do not, who is the provider?

If catchup is available you will normally see a red clock beside the channel name.

Not sure what you mean by "bring new programmes into use" as this is normally automatic although you may have to reboot box for it to update.

It's good practice to switch a MAG box off completely when finished with it for the day.

Hi Lori

What you describe sounds like you have or you are looking for an IPTV service?

What isn't clear from your message is if you already have a service and if so, do they provide catchup because not all providers do, as mentioned in the other reply from Darro.

If you explain a little more then I am sure you will get some help.

Thank you for your responses, yes to first question I do have a catchup service the little red clock, just don't know how to access it. The mag box is new only installed at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately the person supplying this service is in UK, not very helpful nor was the chap who installed when asking for help. The other matter was updating a series like Blue Bloods as series 18 is now out and I've tried to bring it up by typing in the new series, I can't get it to work, sorry for being so long winded, it's frustrating not being able to access the system you have. Thank you both for responding so quickly.

Not all services use the same interface, does your screen look similar to this?

Also updating of series or box sets will vary from provider to provider so just because a series is out it doesn't mean it will automatically become available.

Thanks to this young man for taking the time to come and talk me through the catch up service, really appreciate that he took the time to ensure I was able to access the service with ease. Very pleasant and cheerful young man. Thanks to Alex and the forum I was able to post my problem. Thanks to all.

Happy you're sorted but for the record there is no season 18 of Blue Bloods.

Season 11 was aired this year but with only 16 episodes instead of the usual 19 due to having been interrupted by Covid.

Season 12 is in the making and is due to premier in October but typically it won't appear on IPTV until it's all been aired so that won't be until say Feb or March 2022.

Great series BTW, we binge watched S1-10 during lockdown and managed to download S11 from the internet.

Hi Lori, are you able to (and is your knight in shining armour happy for you to do so), share his contact details for others who may need similar assistance with their mag boxes?
