Hi Sheila,

The Government´s next review is scheduled for 1 October.  From what I´ve read, the changes you mention are as a result of the Government suggesting that they may consolidate Green and Amber countries into one list, with the rules for travel to and from those countries becoming the same, wh...

...ile travellers to the countries designated Red will have to continue with testing and quarantine.

It is odd though - while Spain´s and France´s case rates are dropping, the UK´s is increasing, so is testing helping?  Or, if BoJo really is "following the science", the UK´s increasing infection rate would suggest that testing should be retained?  Whatever they decide, I hope they do a better job of communicating it to the general public this time.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kim , yes that’s definitely what I was reading. I’m all for testing but it’s such a waste when people adhere to the rules to find no one checks their results , or even sends tests that are necessary when arriving in the uk , or bothers to send the results in time for them to return to work. Some people are making millions on a system that doesn’t work and they don’t care . Doesn’t that sound familiar !

We are arriving in Spain in two weeks . Can’t wait ! It’s 18 months since we were last there, after rushing  home in March last year because the borders were being closed .

Kind regards , Sheila

Hi all just need a little help.....coming over to spain in October to see my apartment in Los montesinos could some one give me an idiot's guide to what documents I need. (had both covid jabs) and what is needed for the return many thanks Graham and Pam

Hi,

We have travelled twice to spain in recent months and to me it’s reall y very simple, incidentally our villa is in San Miguel de salinas.

No 1 you’ll need proof of double jab and the last jab must of been at least 14 days prior to your flight

No2. You will need to book a day 2 pcr test for when you arrive back home( we printed the email with the reference code on it) get the home kit sent to your home and shop around , we paid £43 each!

No3, fill in Spanish locator form 48hrs before flight and print.  That gets you to spain!

No4 . 48 hrs prior to flight home you need a lateral flow test, plenty to choose from some pharmacy do it for around €40 .

No 5 , fill in English locator form ( this is where you’ll need the 2 day pcr reference code)

Your done!
some people may say you need a pcr test in spain, but it’s more expensive and we did the lateral flow test and had no issues coming home!

The 2 journeys through the airport’s were trouble free with very little extra qs

Hope this helps

Terry

Hi,

RANDOX once and DANTE LABS for the other. I have no preference it’s just the price at the time. Just a thought, some airlines give a discount if you care to look.
