Could some one tell the procedure for booking in my car for ITV,how much notice is required ,how long do they take etc

The ITV in Ondara usually give appointments out 3-7 days ahead. The queuing takes longer than the test itself. If your car passes every stage of the testing the test itself takes around 15-20 minutes. Then a short wait for the certification.

Every time I've been for an ITV, with an appointment, I've always been called in next - never had to queue, because nobody else has had an appointment.
The test does take about 15 minutes and, at my ITV station, the tester gives me the sticker and test sheet within that 15 minutes.
During siesta time is a good time for making appointments - there shouldn't be too many waiting when you're called and have to drive round them.
