Hi all. I am planning to spend a longer time in Montesinos towards the end of the year and would like to know if there are any groups or activities I could get involved with. I am an older lady and would not have transport initially, so it would have to be anything local to the area. Many thanks for viewing my post.

Pop into any of the bars and ask. Most groups and activities are based either in or from the bars, so the bar owners will point you in the right direction.
Or log on to the U3A group in Torrevieja, you might be able to find some groups on there based in Los Montesinos.
Have a look at the websites/Facebook pages for both the local police and the town hall as they list events and activities.

There was a health shop there as you exit the town up a little street to the right. They sold cannabis tablets and liquid medications. I tried them as I had back pain but didn't get any relief. It's closed now.
