Hi I’m thinking of buying and moving permanently to Los Montesinos. Can anyone tell me is this a good area to live in and are places open all year round here. Also is there a good sense of community here? Any tips on this area and the way of life here would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Montesinos is a good place same as others in the area. It has the advantage of the nearness to the beach w/o the inconveniences of overcrowded tourist hangouts. In Torrevieja you find everything and even more for everydays needs. However, you will need your own vehicle. I settled near Fortuna 40 years ago and love it.
