Travelling to spain (documents)

Hey!

I was hoping to find out if anyone knows how you would present your need to travel to spain, particularly if there aren't any documents you can show.

My Grandad has been in the UK for around a year now for health reasons, but has a property in Spain. We found out the other day that he hadn't been sending enough back to spain to cover his bills, and as a result his bank account was closed. He had no access to internet banking, and we only found out because one of the payments recently bounced back!

Naturally it's important for him (and I, to help him) go over there to sort this out quickly, before any further debts accrue. How could we show this as the reason for travel without documents, or would it even be necessary?

Hi

Given that the account has been closed, I suggest that the first thing to do is open an account with Wise.com - you'll find lots of people on this forum who use Wise.

I assume electricity and water and tax are amongst your concerns. If you know who the suppliers are you should be able to contact them and then pay online using Wise.

Also, most utility companies can give you online access to your account.

Depends how quickly you want to get out there but there is a chance that announcement will be made today about when you can get in as a tourist.
