Hi all….we have just bought a villa in Los Montesinos (La Herrada area) today!!
It has been a whirlwind as only decided to sell our home in Northern Ireland late March. We just fell in love with the location and the welcome we got when here….so we are just buzzing. This will be our permanent home, John is retired and I plan on going next year.

Need to go to Spanish classes when they start again. Hopefully meet some of you soon.

Thanks Lynne….it is such a fabulous area. We are looking forward to exploring it all!! Haven’t met anyone yet who regrets coming over. A new chapter for us!

Silver balls also known as boules but not crown green bowls. Cheap to play meet people and meals out. Aim for a coche (small wooden ball) to get the nearest to it in a team or 2 or 3. Good fun. Will wait to hear from you both to meet for a coffee and a natter

Hi, ya Montisinos is really a lovely place, we are an Irish couple living in campoverde - 20 mins away. Have visited there just very recently, great for cycling and walking. Lovely bars and cafes in the square. Toromendo is also another great little spot not too far away. Enjoy your time. Cheers Bern
