Hi

Im considering moving to the area - no car yet there - is it necessary to have a car as we want to rent for 3 months to get a feel for the area

We live in Montesinos. I would say you need a car. 10 minutes to beach and Torrevieja. I would say its the best of both worlds. Very quiet but not to far from entertainment/ shopping etc

Hi Vince. We have lived in Montesinos for just over two years. We can easily walk into the town but there is so much to do in surrounding areas its a shame to miss out if you can drive.

That's really helpful thank you - as I said we are hoping to come and rent for a couple of months first - Maybe April time - so if you have any useful tips or contacts we would appreciate that.
