Hi. I recently opened a Spanish bank account with Baxia. Whilst I can do on line banking, pay people etc I notice numerous charges which I dont recognise or understand.  I have tried in vain on 3 occasions to contact bank via their help page and email to get a list of charges when operating an account.  On line there is a PDF but whilst the title is in English everything else is in Spanish which sadly I do not speak.  Can anyone help me please

Many thanks in advance

Hi ...maybe if you can post on here the narrative relating to the charges, you are more likely to get a response as to what they are for. Also  you don’t say if it’s a resident or non resident account.

Thank you for your suggestions.

I have quite a few and only had my bank account for a month or so I just wondered if Anyone had a copy of standard charges for bankia for non residents which they could share

Thanks again and I will take your advice. Regards

Hi Jacqu

Have you tried google translate? If you copy and paste the relevant text into Google Trsnslate it should give an accurate translation

Hi Steve. Thanks for your suggestion. I am not sure I will be able to copy and paste from my on line bank statement but I will give it a go.  Thanks again for taking time to respond. Jacqui:)

Jact if you have a smart phone/tablet and have the google translate app just open the app choose Spanish to English. There is an icon of a camera press that and it will tell you to align text and if you hold it nice and still over the Spanish text it will translate it to English on your screen. Hope that helps.
