Plaza maintenance

I notice that the plaza park in front of my apartment on C. Salzburg is so overgrown and wild. The plaza used to be well maintained now you have to walk in the road as the trees block the footpath. So many weeds and dog poop. It isn’t just here, it seems the same in lots of places. No road and pavement sweeping. I paid the same taxes all through Covid and still paying. Has something changed ? Different council ? Whatever has changed it’s certainly not better. Any views ?

Hello

This the 2nd post recently on neglect in Orihuela Costa. I don't see how posting complaints on here will achieve anything.

I suggest that its up to everyone, to take photographs of different areas of offensive problems & all take them, in person to the Ayuntamiento to make your complaint,s ...... you might get a response, or even better, some action!

we you have made good suggestions regarding what to do, so posting the complaint has had that benefit.

Terry,

there is another post on here just a few days ago, look for "why are things deteriorating" and take a look at the responses on there. I believe this is a long standing issue and it seems the council in Orihuela do not take much action to address the issue in certain areas of OC. It has got worse this year, certainly the rubbish situation around our area is as bad as it has been in the 5 years we have been here, seems the same in surrounding areas.

I have been to the Town Hall in Pilar who made a note and I have sent an email with photos to [email protected]

I haven’t just put it on here, only asking for others views and opinions which I thought forums were for.

Good work , I think that's just what you should do.

Forums are indeed for others opinions & they give you an opportunity to complain about things, which people do ,but without more positive action they don't resolve anything & the same complaints are posted over & over again.
