Bus from monforye del cid

Are there any buses from monforte del cid and if so where do they go and how often
Hi Lydia,
When we returned our rented car to the airport at Alicante, we caught a service bus from the airport to Alicante Bus Station and from there a service bus to Monforte. Bus was very inexpensive and convenient. Can I suggest that there would be a regular service the opposite way. There is a small bus stop in the town.

Hi Lynda
We have a holiday apartment in Montforte del Cid and when we are over we like to take the bus into alicante which takes about 20 minutes. We have also been on the bus to aspe. We picked up timetables from Alicante bus station which we find really helpful. The bus stop is along the road from the ice-cream shop before you get to the waste ground where there are a couple of horses (usually). Sorry don't knoe the street name but will check that out and post it.
