We completed on our house in Monforte De Cid Urbanización in October.   We used a Spanish Solicitor recommended to us by our Estate Agent.   The solicitors Name is FIDEL MULA NAJAR and his Clerk is Julia Loftus who lived in York 35 years ago.  She is fluent in Spanish and English and is based in Dolores.   

The process was very quick and so professional.  They made sure  that all everything was legal and above board.    Julia was absolutely fantastic..always there either by email WhatsApp or mobile.  They organised our NIE, Electric and Water connections and arranged us Spanish Bank Accounts.   We appointed them to act on our Power of Attorney as we were in England until we completed.

Julia sent us a breakdown of the full costings...and that’s exactly what we pain upon completion.

Just to say, Isabel Perez-Blanco provided the same service as FIDEL MULA NAJAR and Julia did for Stephen, in exactly the same way. Isabel also arranged for our Spanish wills, which we believe is a further key step in the process for buying a property in Spain. Like FIDEL MULA NAJAR, the costs were made clear to us at the beginning of the process and so there were no surprises.

Sounds like you have 2 good recommendations to choose from. Maybe location could be a consideration i.e finding a solicitor who is based near your property
