Hi Mike,
Taxi licences are issued by the Town Halls, but I couldn´t find anything on their website:

so I'd suggesting giving Monóvar Ayuntamiento a call: (00 34) 966 96 03 11.

There are no taxi companies in Monover to my knowledge, A new company has set up in Pinoso, so will cover Monover for airport runs etc. New cars. +34622344555 and +34622333602. People have been using WhatsApp, Viber and Telegram to contact them.

Sorry for the very late response, I've not checked in for some time, Daniel Gomez, he's based in Monovar and he can be contacted on 617 530 058, we used him one night and he did speak a little English, this was about a year ago.

He is, he even advertises on Radio Monovar, I just hope he's still in business, we've been back in the UK for a while now but moving back to Monovar next year.

We'll definitely be back next year, I was out there for two years living on savings and a small company pension, next year I reach state pension age and we'll be fine with that, I have my TIE and my wife's an EU national so no problems getting in, this time next year we'll be back.
