Hi Janet

I’ve never, fortunately, needed to use my EHIC. I understand they should still be accepted.

Maybe the best thing would be to ring round the local clinics and doctors and ask the question.

Dr Guido Campman at the international Clinic appears to be rated very highly by Moraira Connect users 🤪🥂

If you are non-resident you can replace it with a GHIC. If you are resident I'm not sure about using an EHIC

Yes I can vouch for Dr Campman he is great but the clinic does not accept the EHIC card. The charge is €50 for the first appointment, and €20 for the second. Very reasonable considering IMED in Teulada charged me £98 to suggest I contact a surgeon!!
