A loved one recently passed in Dénia hospital. He had covid 19 but the pheumonia killed him. I’d like to post an obituary in a local paper or similar. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Sorry for your loss, the only English speaking paid newspaper that I can think off for the area is the Costa Blanca News. Not sure how many people actually purchase the newspaper as the few people who read newspapers rely on the local free rags.

I actually read the Costa Blanca News online as I have a press reader subscription and they don’t have an obituary column as such .Although “announcement” columns are a feature in newspapers in the U.K., it’s not generally the norm here. With funerals taking place within a couple of days here in Spain, funerals will have taken place before the publication is printed.
