How to pay my IVTM online

We are in the UK and now unable to travel back to Spain until at least June because of the situation. Our car is parked at Alicante Airport. I understand that in Spain all IVTM’s are due around April. We have searched online but cannot find a method to pay this. We have contacted Suma but they say to go through the road traffic site but cannot find how to do it.

Can anyone please advise us as this is the first time of us having to renew it.

We do not know if they notify you, if they do it may well be sat in our post box and obviously cannot access it from here.

Unfortunately bought the car in the UK from a Spanish lady. May try contacting her husband to see if he can help.

Morning, all transferred to us by using a Gestor in Spain and we have all the documents in our name. Just no renewal paperwork for the road fund. Thank you for answering

Get in touch with the gestor who handled the transfer but collection may well have been suspended due to Coronavirus.

There have been inconsistencies on the CAB Spain site in the past so always best to check everything yourself.

There have been inconsistencies on the CAB Spain site in the past so always best to check everything yourself.

I assume you've read my Suma guide.

If need be, ring their helpline and you should be able to pay over the phone.
