Hi, we are looking to import and register our car in Spain from the UK. The car is a 15 year old mercedes with an approximate value of £6,000. Can anyone tell me if they know the approximate cost of importing/registering a car of this age please ?

About 1800 euros to reregister it. Is it worth it? In Spain, unless it is REALLY special, it has a value of about 2000 euros. Enough said......
Sell it in the UK and buy a Spanish car.

I imported a 2003 CLK Mercedes and it was a lot less than that Richard. 1100. It gives me enormous pleasure driving my own car, one which would have been very expensive to buy here like for like in Spain. Yes I have to be alert at some junctions but isn't that a good thing anyway!
