I am proud and pleased to introduce myself as someone whose parents bought in Moraira in 1969 on Club Moraira having tried a time share in Calpe in 1968 and whilst we lost my Dad in 95 the villa is still with my family. We do not visit anything like as much as we should having kept working well passed normal retirement age. I know very few people in Moraira even after all this time and I have been extremely lazy regarding learning the language and am suitably embarrassed about that.

However I was delighted to find the forum and the first question I asked regarding the Santander Bank was answered very quickly. So just a quick introduction and I hope this may help to improve our connection with Moraira after all this time.  Oh my goodness penny just dropped 51 years but there is still a pulse.

If anyone is interested I have my Dads picture from the top road from 1969 showing the site just as the foundations for the clubhouse was started. The clubhouse of course became the Swiss Hotel and only about 7 or 8 of the villas built.

Many thanks to the forum

M

Would be very interesting to see the old photos you have! We aren’t far from the Swiss hotel so would be nice to see the area.

Ok I will sort a couple out from 1969 and around 2010 to show the massive difference both taken from the same spot on the back road to Teulada by the big wall.
