Hello everyone

I've just seen this on a site and would like to inform everyone who might have an account with Barclays Bank.

Please see the link as it's saying they are cancelling credit cards.

I'm not sure if this is true but I would be calling them to find out more.

Sue 😘

Hi, It is Barclaycard NOT Barclays Bank.  I think you will find you are OK with Barclays Bank.

That's what they said or inferred a year ago, Jan 21, last week (Jan 22) they said that you can opt out by writing to them in Leicester.
You are given 6 months anyway if you do get a letter from them. Note: Barclays Bank Account

My hubby had his card cancelled

I did not but we where both customers for 15 years when asked why a rep said a cull of as many self employed people during covid as they where most affected and bank was scared these people wouldn’t be able to pay there money back

I cancelled my own card the day after out of disgust as neither of us had ever missed a payment and normally paid in full

Obviously Barclaycard had no sympathy with self employed people in a crisis such as covid
