If anyone in the southern Costa Blanca - preferable in the Torrevieja or San Miguel area - knows a jardinería or vivero that sells lime trees, I'd be grateful if you'd let me know.

TIA.

In Murcia there are several nurseries, one of them being run by the local government. I am quite confident they have got what you are after. More information here: https://www.carm.es/web/pagina?IDCONTENIDO=1182&IDTIPO=100&RASTRO=c80$m22721,22774

Or browse the net for "viveros murcia", there are plenty of them.

Thanks for that.

Any other suggestions from anyone?

Jim

I haven’t been in recently but the garden centre at los dolces definitely sell lime trees.

If you can hold off until next week I will call in and check(don’t drive so will call on my weekly trip to the Boulevard)

Thanks Grahame and Deirdre.

I actually asked for a friend of Margaret's daughter but, thinking about it, it would be nice to plant one myself as a kind of memorial.

Obviously not urgent, as I've a lot on my plate at the moment.

Hi Jim,

We always use Valentin garden centre on the road between cv905 and Montesinos. Website is www.gardencentervalentin.com.

Always very helpful and will do free home delivery within a certain radius.

May both your trees bloom and thrive in memory of Margaret

That's great, Grahame (and Deirdre); thanks very much. I've got to go down to San Miguel for pool stuff shortly, so I'll do the extra distance and get one.

Not in torre at the minute, but there's a great Garden Centre very near Torre just off the AP7. When I was there last year they had a huge range fof citrus fruit trees, and if they don't have something they will order it in  Here's the link:.  https://goo.gl/maps/ybHkx5BAZBM7FJRc6
