Plumber has a point. How accurate are all these statistics ? None of the figures in any country are 100% accurate.

More accurate than the guess work of the keyboard warriors for sure. In the UK the stats are all pretty accurate as are being harvested from local health trusts/ boards. It is not the accuracy of the data that was questioned before but how governments spin it.

If 100% of people are vaccinated, 100% of adverse outcomes are in vaccinated people. You can prorate that according to the percentage vaccinated in Israel.

Not sure what you mean about 100% of adverse outcomes are in vaccinated people but agree that this reporting is from a VERY dodgy source. Interesting that some of the adverse effects reported in some cases are less than the normal background rate of these and so it makes the wild assumptions in articles like this fairly meaningless.

To change the numbers about: if  95 out of 100 people are vaccinated, the infections that occur will mostly be in vaccinated people experiencing breakthrough infections (as vaccines are not perfect). The greatest number of unvaccinated infected people in this scenario is five people (and of course they won’t all get infected). So if the chance of infection  in vaccinated people is 6%, and the chance of infection in unvaccinated people is 80%, you’ll end up with more vaccinated people infected by the sheer weight of numbers.

Wow, there is a mathematician. Although it makes sense, can you prove this algebraically ?
