Didn't know exactly where to put this...

I'm currently in the UK and set to fly back home to Spain.

Could anyone tell me if there are any restrictions on bringing chocolate back into Spain. Its my wife's birthday soon and my sister-in-law has asked me to bring some chocolates back for her.

Just wondering now UK is no longer in the EU

We came by ferry, carful but only a small amount of food, chutneys, packet mixes, and favourite biscuits plus load of chocolate. Customs officer asked did we have a pet(no) glanced over belongings(all 2nd hand stuff in bags mostly, few boxes, suitcases and no mention of food and let us go through. Wish I,d brought more now. I,ve read of people taking chocolate and its OK, but to be sure you can ring customs and ask. I did over instant gravy containing beef and after much thought he said no. So I brought in instant vegan gravy which I have used with a beef stock cube and very tasty too. I do make gravy the traditional way in case anyone thinks I can't cook. Actually I bought the catering 1kg boxes for vegan gravy as hubby likes his gravy so much and I, m taking boxes back but will put beef gravy packs inside for next visit!! 🤔
