I'm not sure you need a Covid test to enter the UK

you dont need to have a test for travel back to the uk.  You just need to have one when you go back less than 72 hours before flying

You don’t need any test to enter the Uk.   It’s only when you go back to Spain you need the pcr test.   

You might not need one by law, but it is the responsible thing to do before transiting the confines of an airport/aircraft.

There are probably IMED and/or Quiron facilities near you.

My wife and I have used IMED twice for COVID tests - easy to book online.

We are due to have COVID tests at the Quiron in Torrevieja tomorrow. You need to set up a Quiron account first, which makes the booking process a little bit more tricky.

Covid test not an uk entry requirement from Spain. 

You can book and entry test at the major UK Airports. There about £80 Manchester and 4 other airports in the UK are doing them.  Collinson are doing the tests book with them direct 

The only legal  benefit of taking a test when returning to the UK from, for example, Spain, is in order to reduce  the 10  day UK  Quarantine time to about 5 days ,providing a private  test is booked at a UK testing station prior to leaving Spain, entering this on the Passenger Locator Form, taking the test 5 days after after arrival in the UK , waiting for the result, and if 'Negative'. Quarantine can be ended.

Hi. I drove back to the uk last week and I didn't need to have a test. You only need to book and pay for a covid test on your return if you want to reduce the 10 quarantine to 5 day's. The NHS. covid test won't reduce the 10 day quarantine, you have to pay privately.
