sorry but I do think you should be able to expect to walk around safely, not a very sympathetic response.  As us ladies especially know if you save you 'best' jewellery for 'best', you never wear it.  

Thank you for the warning, that seems to be a new scam.  How very upsetting for your wife, I know how I would feel.  A good friend lost his gold bracelet to ‘the huggers’ a few years ago, such a shame folk cannot wear their jewellery without the risk of being robbed.

So sorry to hear you’ve had this horrible experience - so upsetting for your wife to have lost such a personal piece of jewellery in this planned attack. Thank goodness neither of you were hurt physically - little comfort I know.

Why don’t you then go back to your backwards Island and stay there Ray. Without the vast workforce from central Europe, the UK’s service industry would simply collapse, it are the Brits who are the most vulgar, drunk, obnoxious tourists all over Spain, and illegal Brit expats, now panicking because of Brexit are notorious for not willing or not capable of learning Spanish.
