Hi, the area around San Roc is nice.  There are a couple of bars in San Roc square, one is run by an English couple. There is also a supermarket, but it is not far to walk into the town, where there are a lot of restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets and pharmacies, and also a market on Fridays.  We moved to Oliva at the end of January, and found it very cold, so you will need heating where you are renting.  The town is a working town, so does not shut down during the winter, so there will still be plenty of places open.  Oliva is a very friendly town, there is a U3A group here, and several social groups. We have met lots of people in the few months we have been here.  If you would like any more information, then please message me.

Diana
