House insurance

Hi Steve, we’re with Liberty Seguros the last 12 years as a holiday home ( only recently got residency) a two bedroom three storey town house and for contents & building cover ( no accidental cover ) & we’ve not paid more than 150.00 euros in total. I’m hoping it may go down in May as it won’t be classed as a holiday home any longer. We’ve never had to make a claim so can’t comment re that . I believe a lot of people use Linea Directa , possibly you’ll get some comments from forum users who experience of them also . Hope this helps .

Nearest office might be Javea.

Cunningham is a very big broker for LS so my assumption is that claims do get good attention and the premiums aren't loaded because it's a broker. My guess is that they're the same and Cunningham take their commission from the same price you would get at a local LS office.

Edit to add.. I have 2 properties with LS and have made a claim on each, dealing by phone with the Jennifer Cunningham office on each occasion. Very good service. My car also with them but thankfully haven't had to test the service yet!

Be sure your read and understand the (quite extensive) smallprint, specially related to max. period of not permanent occupation, min. security installations required and many other traps, incl. an automatic renewal witrh increased premium - and so many more impossible to detail here. And don't forget squatters.
