I have owned a property in Oliva Playa for over twenty years. I have been on the Padron for most of that period, I can't actually remember when I first applied. I travel to and from Spain several times a year now making certain that I do not contravene the Schengen regulations.

On the 27 April 2023 I received a recorded delivery letter from the Pardon office saying that my Padron is about to expire. Unfortunately the following day I returned to the UK. I was expecting to to be back in Spain in early June and go and renew my Padron but due to personal reasons I don't think I will be ably to get back in June or in July.

Is there any way I can contact the Padron Office and explain the circumstances and call in the next time I am in Oliva, I don't want to loose my Padron and have to re-apply.

Kind regards,

hbert100.

If non resident then legally you cannot be on a padron.

Don't mistake some town halls allowing you to sign on as it being legal or proper because it isn't.

Being on a padron when you should not be can have significant ramifications as it's a legal declaration by you that you live in Spain which would make you subject to Spanish tax.

As a non resident there is nothing to be gained from being on a padron anyway so just let it go.

Hi,

Looking to rent in Oliva from 20th Jan 24 for two weeks.  Would like a traditional house with some modernisation and outside space preferably with a sea view.

1/2 bedroom for a retired couple

Thanks
