We are hoping to find some sort of expat community , local bar etc that English speakers congregate at.
We will transfer from U3a Oliva to Denia , just info gathering.

If you ask the ladies in the charity shop opposite Euronics (near Mas y Mas) I'm sure they'll know if there's a bar where Brits gather. (Avda Dr Fleming)

Fratelli is the only bar restaurant where I've heard English spoken. Otherwise cannot think of anywhere else. Otherwise the restaurant up on Monte Pego is lively and fun. The first one when you arrive. Very nice deco too.

I think that's Black Flame, English bar and restaurant.

I think Black Flame is in Monte Pedreguer, in Monte Pego it's La Cova Gastrobar... There's live music on the terrace.
