Hi I am looking for a water filter system for drinking water. One company asks for the condition of the water, I have asked if they have fitted any in the area & if so use their information. But they say they haven't, so I would need to purchase a test kit and send the results to them ??. The on going cost varies company to company of annual filter changes. Its mainly to get water for tea & coffee as well as drinking water.
Thanks, one of our neighbours uses a filter jug ?. My tea is fine using tap water but my Mrs says it has a taste & bottled water for me doesn't work. Your right about the cost, but we are out there for 2weeks at a time so we wouldn't recoup the installation cost & the on going annual cost try a filter jug first......
You can buy a kit from eBay for around £20, I have seen people on the markets selling them installed for 120eu for the same thing.
