First of all – Many thanks to all the people that helped with suggestions and their forwarding of ‘Missing Cat’ post to their friends, relatives and contacts – it was much appreciated. We tried every Vets clinic, animal sanctuary and pet rescue establishment in the area, almost all were visited in person.

Unfortunately we still have no word at all on Lucky’s whereabouts or condition. If only we could find the couple who tried to take the cat we believe was Lucky to the Vets clinic at Villamartin, we would have a closure on this sad affair. One last plea to all people reading this note is to please let us know if you hear of or know of any people who found an injured black cat last Sunday 13th March. around the Vista Azul II Urbanisation between Cabo Roig Strip and La Zenia. Thanks once again.

Missing Black Cat Found

Or rather, he found his own way back home this afternoon. It turns out that after intruding into a neighbours home as they were leaving for a short holiday, he got locked in. Thankfully, our neighbours holiday was only a few days long and not weeks. Lucky (so aptly named now) is none the worse for wear – a little slimmer perhaps - and completely oblivious to the fact we had, what seemed to be, the whole world looking for him. Thanks once again to all of you who shared the post, I’m also thankful I can update this post with a happy ending.
