Hi, it may seem like a silly question, but just wanted to check, does anybody know if the buses run as normal to Caba Roig on Paddy's Day. Thanks šŸ˜Š

So sorry to ask this question, but when your not that familiar with Spanish holidays and bus timetables, I thought I'd just check. Thought that's what the forum was for, normally get polite and really helpful replies. Thanks for your time to reply anyway

I don't want to appear to be rude but I can't believe you asked a question such as this. You are living in Spain therefore why would bus timetables or anything else for that matter be observing foreign holidays and just in case you are wondering, buses run as normal on St Andrew's Day, St David's Day and St Georges's Day. Google Spanish public holidays for a list of their holidays but even then the Country doesn't shut down!

If my question was, who are the patron saints, this would have been a really helpful answer, but as it wasn't .....really unhelpful. If you find a question that ridiculous it's surprises me that you would take time to reply ......but I suppose that says alot.

In honesty our original poster has asked a valid question. There is a huge parade in Cabo Roig on March 17th  and many streets are sealed off for the entire day. - including the area where the buses normally stop. To quote the organisers  ā€œitā€™s the biggest parade in Europe outside of the Emerald Isleā€ and the whole area  becomes a sea of green for the entire day. The area is full of tens of thousands of people including those, who fly in especially for the day.
So if the a question is do the buses stop in Cabo Roig on that day I can only guess that either the buses have or alternate route or possibly will stop somewhere different.

The bars and restaurants put a great deal of effort in the preceding months fundraising for this event and having missed the past three years through Covid and bad weather- they are hoping for a massive turnout.

Therefore the question should have been will normal bus routes very disrupted during any parade?
