Hi, I'm looking to buy a car, to use as a holiday runabout, as fed up paying the hire costs and worrying about car park scrapes, etc.

Anyone looking to sell one?

Must be LHD and able to take up to 4 adults, ideally with a good ITV date.

I'm in Spain from late July to late August, so if you have anything that fits the list please get in touch.

Thx

I would suggest that you buy through a dealer, that way you will have the car serviced, a warranty, a full ITV, help with getting insurance, will not be liable for the cost of changing the registration of car ownership and have a point of contact if a problem arises.

In August, when the tribe decamps, I am selling a 2005 Ford Fusion, 1.4 diesel, seats 5, super economical, new tyres all round, ITV until 2020, and only asking 2300 euros.   You pay 150 euros for change of ownership and I will arrange to take you to the gestor.

   Any questions?

Thanks

Richard

Hello:

I recomend to test the car in a garage you trust BEFORE you buy the car. It will cost you arround 30€ but you will get and independent opinion about the car. ITV is just a small test that you can cheat, in special from dealers. I saw cars where they put new tyres for ITV and after the put back old tyres, for example.

I work in a garage and buying through a dealer guaranty nothing different that buying directly to your owner.

Well, really a dealer knows better how to hide problems because of their experience.

The guaranty is the same if you buy directly.
