Hi

Could anyone recommend a Bank to use please?

Just need to pay DD,S and a card for cash withdrawal's and to use on daily basis to pay for goods etc

Not sure which one to try first to keep charges down to a minimum

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave

You'll find many people on this forum use the online "bank" Wise.com (formerly known as Transferwise). Sign up with them and get the debit card. You can do currency conversions at the drop of a hat, at the best rate, and minimal charges. If you draw money out using an ATM you will probably be charged, but if you pay for things with a card there are no charges.

They also support direct debits, but there is no overdraft facility.

Cheers

Steve

As Steve says people are switching to Wise Starling and systems like that unless your paying about 800€a month into account and sometimes one of there insurances or the line you get charged every quarter plus if you transfer money from uk iban, they love them €€€€€€
