Quarantine post holiday - Page 3

People really should report anyone breaking quarantine. This have been imposed to help everyone else. Those people gave no morals and should be deeply ashamed of themselves.

I would also be annoyed that I wasn’t going to be paid but I would most certainly do as instructed by the government. Surly people at their place of employ will know that these people were away in  Spain and haven’t quarantined, if they don’t watch out, they could be sacked.

In truth, I am horrified that those people have no regard for their fellow man. If everyone did this, you and I could and many others end up in a hospital or worse, a mortuary.

Do you Nicola?  I think a Higher percentage will quarantine. In NI , people will do the right thing. I really believe that.  We are a very small community and everyone knows everyone’s business so people would be ashamed if caught out cheating and not quarantining.  People here are treating this virus with respect and doing their best. Many people are shielding and would be irate if they got wind of people returning from Spain and not quarantining.

I am shocked that people would do such a thing and I sincerely hope they are reported and fined.

I know one chap who returned from Spain over a week ago who was told to be tested... no reason other than his return from Spain. Thankfully, all was well and he is self isolating now.

Let’s ask the question, I’d really like to hear from people who have returned.  I hope your forecast is wrong but I may be disillusioned.

I’d like to say that I don’t believe you but why would you say such a thing? It’s unforgivable. I am ashamed to even think people would be so selfish. 

You are right, I live my life in a bubble at the best of times!  My standards are high and I have taught my children the same as did my mother and her’s before. 

The awful thing is how shocked and surprised I am. I try to see the best in people and your story has shocked and upset me. 

Something has to be done!  Thanks for telling me.
