Most important is a COC from the manufacturer. With this document and the "carte grise" drive to any ITV and get "Certificado de Caracteristicas Tecnicas" for less than 100,-. Then, pay road tax at your council for the current year. Complete form 576 and pay registration tax at "Hacienda".(depending on grade of pollution). Download and fill form https://sede.dgt.gob.es/sede-estaticos/Galerias/modelos-solicitud/01/Mod.01-ES.pdf With All the aforesaid plus proof of property is what you need to register at "Trafico" (get appontment here  https://sede.legal/citas/orihuela/dgt/) Pay the fee of 96,80 by credit card (mandatory) directly at Trafico to the officer. Get your reg. plates for some 30,- and insurance. And that's it. A gestoria would charge 300,-+ and take up to a week. Take the challenge and let me know if you were successful. Good luck.

I hope I’m wrong but I’m hearing you now have 30% tax +Iva at 21% to pay wether you get away with this  as it’s part of your estate, ?, make sure it’s as the manufacturer made it and everything works electronically sun roofs etc if you go through with it good luck Brexit and the unseen conse

I made the ITV myself and all the others, including taxes, were done/paid by the company. I paid 850 Euros and I received in my hand all the car documents, the registration plates.

I have a Copia Simple version of my house deeds.

Do I need to hold the actual deeds and if so, where do I obtain them?

You may have posted your question in the wrong place, but nevertheless the answer is that your Abogado should have provided your full Escritura within a month of your purchase. If they have not done so I would suggest asking them for it if or when you are next in Spain.

Thanks for your reply, I live in Spain, have done for 26 years. 24 in the same house, with the same legal team. Due to medical reasons I can't make the journey into town so decided to change to a closer solicitors. On collecting paperwork from PSB there was only a escopia simple. l am told that they don't have the original.
