If you are talking secondhand then look on FWR eurocars website (close to Alicante Airport). Frank is the owner , a honest business man

I have just bought a second hand fiesta from autodirect and cannot praise them highly enough. They went the extra mile with the car, ensuring it was handed over with warranty, serviced, resprayed where there was sun damage on roof and even changed the cam belt as they could not verify when it was last done. Paul King, owner and Alex who dealt with paperwork - both extremely nice, very very helpful with every aspect. We were both very pleased, so much so that my husband is now talking to them about buying a car from himself too !

Yes, cars are more expensive in Spain BUT the cost of living and lifestyle in Spain far exceeds that of the UK and there has to come a time when you stop comparing things to UK and just try to get the best price in Spain that you can for the product you are interested in ??? .....
If you here long term buy new most second cars are imported from other European countries and have no history or ask the car hire people who sell there fleets off
